I did a good amount of shopping around and this PC is one heck of a value. Overall Review: Trust me, the pros heavily outweigh the cons for this machine. Easy to uninstall, just a minor inconvenience. The most minor of cons, not even worth considering really but I find it annoying, is all of the bloatware ASUS ships it with. Upgrading a GPU isn't too difficult, but it IS one of the more expensive pieces of hardware to upgrade. Don't get me wrong, it is going to be able to run games on decent settings for awhile to come, but in the next couple of years, you'll have to start dropping the settings down to medium or considering an upgrade. As i said, it runs the newest games extremely well, but it's effectiveness is going to drop off soon.

The optical drive is DVD instead of blueray which is a little silly in my opinion but is also extremely easy to upgrade and fairly inexpensive. Also, the motherboard is an intel h81 chipset so you could easily upgrade to the i7 series at any point without too much hassle. However the i5 series is still considered ideal for gaming in some circles. probably the most noticeable flaw in the machine.ĬPU is i5-4460 which is slightly dated.
Thankfully, RAM is pretty cheap and one of the easiest things to upgrade. Luckily, these are easy to upgrade and rectify. The network card is great as well, and it comes with a wifi antenna that gives me a fantastic connection.Ĭooling is GREAT!
